1985 Mazda RX7 FB Custom JL WS6 Subwoofer
just showing my new systems subwoofer enclosure. It in a 1985 mazda rx7. The sub is a JL 12" WS6 sub powered by an Alpine PDX 1.1000 amp.

12W6-4V2 2x in Mazdaspeed 3 and JL 500/1 amp
Stitch and myself in his Mazdaspeed 3, with an Alpine W205 headunit, twin 12W6-4 powered by a JLaudio 500/1 amp (sadly under powering these subs). Alpine settings: Bass = 0, sub = +5, treble = +2, response = 60Hz, volume turned up during vid from 18 to 20. I yelled the following. "I have no idea if they can hear this...but it's...it's not loud enough. Let's turn it up! If we turn it up 1 more...." Uh...forgot what I said exactly, but it was something along the lines of "we'll damage the speakers b/c of the under powering amp." Then I go into saying what subs and amp are in the vehicle...but of course...can't hear a damn thing of what I'm saying... Lol Then...Stitch tries to immitate of snake...or something. I yelled "What the hell are you doing???" Then I turn the camera back at me and say "...I don't know him." You can hear the rest of what I say in the vid. The 12W6 is rated 400W RMS...and his subs are on a single circuit instead of parallel...so the 500/1 amp is basically giving each sub only 250W. Seriously under powered, and probably damaging to the subs. Oh, the song you hear playing is "Atlanta" by Bond. It's from their CD called "Remixed."
